I just read Fourth Wing for the second time. I’ve read all three books in this series and I needed to go back to book one to refresh all the information that happed in the next two books. All are worth the read. And I still cried over Liam!

Really liked this fantasy… kind of reminded me of some other fantasy series I’ve read but it was unique enough. Writing was corny at times but otherwise loved the plot, the dragons are sick, and I’m excited to continue the story. Wish there was a map to show the world they live in!

this is hands-down one of the best books I’ve ever read in my life. It is beautifully written, the humor is hilarious, I love the diversity between all characters, I love the tension between Xaden and Violet, the plot twist I definitely didn’t see coming, and the end of the book left my jaw on the floor. I can’t recommend this book enough and so excited for the rest of the series.

Its such a fascinating storyline. Everything it’s so well thought out, and it brought me back to reading fantasy! Though, I know is only the first book…but I couldn’t really connect with the characters. Something was missing, hopefully by book two it gets better. The friendship seemed rushed. I was confused at first, mc seemed so smart and composed…and given the atmosphere of the story, I believe she was going to be like that. But as the story progresses, she becomes very emotional and immature. It became really hard to like her…BUT Xaden, the rebels and the dragons really ground the story and elevate it. I’m excited for their journey, hopefully I can say the same for the mc soon.

This is not for women but more for a younger adult reader (late teens to early 20s I’d say). I hate to give it 2 stars bc it’s not apples to apples. But if you’re 35, 40+, I’d choose something more mature. It’s a little young. But I know younger girls who enjoy the series. I couldn’t finish the first book bc it too un relatable as a 38 year old.

This was my first time reading a fantasy romance novel and it exceeded my expectations by miles. The details make you live in the pages and it feels real. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I have been reading so long that I became jaded to the books that I was reading. More or less a lot of romance and mafia and MC life. This book had me on the edge of my seat from the time that I started reading after the first chapter. You see, I had to get my bearings first and understand the storyline.

Their chemistry builds with great tension and emotional payoff. Yarros’s world is vivid and immersive, with brutal trials, political intrigue, and unforgettable dragons. Every character feels fully realized, and the story never slows. Fourth Wing is easily one of my favorite reads—an addictive, epic start to the series.
