Have read ALL his books. This one is basically Woke Caveman Pillars of the Earth. No reason except to be woke to have lesbian sex. Very formulated, no surprises.
Not one I would recommend.

I love how the author takes groups of ancient peoples and weaves the heroes, heroines and an ahem, well known ruin and creates a plausible creation story. Worth every page turning minute!

A very probable description of how Stonehenge might of been accomplished. The depiction of class structure and their view of life was also believable. It was easy to put on your tunic and join the Herders in their journey with them and the other tribes.

I thought this was one of his good works and enjoy wondering how people lived in those times. I can see humans were still very controlling even back then.

I’ve have read ALL of Folletts books. This one was a tremendous disappointment with trite unbelievable dialogue, shallow characters, and generally formulaic writing. Parts of it were so bad I wondered if it was written using AI. Definitely not worth the $17 I paid on Apple iBook’s

I’ve read all of Ken Folletts books(most of them 2 or 3 times because they are so good), he’s my favorite author, and I rate most of his books 5 stars. Im sad to rate this 2 stars and it’s hard to believe he wrote this book. Im shocked at how bad it is compared to his other books. The first 25% was a 1 star and I almost gave up on finishing the book.
