You get to know 4 rules that seam really reasonable but then maybe what you want it’s not that habit maybe it’s something else

This was an amazing read. I loved how informative it was, how he included so many different people/ careers. I feel like I learned so much from this book and it helped me out immensely with habit tracking. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because I he repeated so much stuff. Once he got done talking about something he was say the same thing over again a couple pages later.

I read this book at the beginning of the year and it was the perfect time for it. I found it practical, honest, inspiring, and both intelligently and beautifully written. As I read, I often took notes down in my vision sheet - such is the power of this book, having the ability to cause you to refine your vision and system on the go. As someone in academia, I am inspired to recommend this book to my students at the beginning of the school year; and to my friends and family. It is a deeply impactful book, one that I will keep closely in years ahead. One of the most important books I have read.

Not only did James Clear provide a better perspective on how to view and approach my habits to ensure I change the bad ones to good ones, he gave simple, easy action steps along the way. Much needed!

Having the knowledge and understanding first and then also being guided on HOW to go about making those changes, makes all the difference.

I’ve already started applying several of these habit laws and have noticed an improvement in my habits. I’m excited to continue getting 1% better every day and compounding my success in various parts of my life.

(For perspective on my review, I’m a mid-30’s female entrepreneur whose biggest challenge has been time management and juggling the duties of all the hats I currently wear in my business.)

Loved this book, highly recommended! Definitely a staple piece on my digital bookcase now.

What can I say about this book that everyone doesn't already know. It most certainly changed my life. However, I also know a few people who read it, loved it but claim that their life didn't improve and the techniques didn't work. Because at the end of the day, you can read all the techniques, tricks, and gain all the onowl but it comes down to taking action. The beauty of how this book describes creatiia framework of change is that I feel good about myself even with making small changes which don't seem to get a huge outcome. Waiting for rewards and being disappointed when you don't get them immediately is not the right mindset, just making those small changes is it's own reward. I also loved the voting analogy, as long as I'm putting even 1 vote every day towards my desired identity, I'm achieving results. Mainly this book helped my find the comfort in knowing that I don't need to move mountains to be successful, I can improve my life little by little. Thank you James Clear, for teaching me this life changing philosophy.

As a physician, I’ve had to solidify good habits to get through the grueling process of becoming a healer and to remain good at it. My initial thoughts before picking up this book were that…I already know this stuff. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with this fantastic read. James Clear outlines the pathway to developing good habits while emphasizing the challenges with bad habits as well. I walked away after reading this with a new perspective on things I thought I knew and even during the read reflected on my own habits and have already noticed meaningful changes. I highly recommend this book to anyone at any stage of their life.
